ASAP Arts! 25th Anniversary

"ASAP! is an arts-infused education organization whose hands-on programming fosters awareness of how the arts, humanity and learning are interconnected."

The core values of ASAP reflect their commitment to educating young individuals through art and innovation. These values include recognizing the inherent creativity in everyone, finding joy in the process of learning, understanding that possibilities are limitless, acknowledging that challenges bring growth, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, placing community at the center, and embracing a lifelong learning mindset.

On the occasion of ASAP Arts' 25th Anniversary, I volunteered as the Production Manager to organize an art-inspired celebration! The anniversary fundraiser took place at The Frederick Gunn School, utilizing their new and stunning Thomas S. Perakos Arts and Community Center.

Assisting behind the scenes with Marc Wager's band, I served as the teleprompter for the variety show and collaborated closely with ASAP's Board Member Nicole Tongue and actor Michael Lombardi - it was an enjoyable and rewarding experience!

The celebration revolved around the theme of Curiosities, featuring the current students and alumni of ASAP Arts. The event included a Raise a Paddle Auction, delightful cocktails, and paella for the guests.

Overall, the 25th Anniversary Fundraiser was a truly remarkable and unforgettable event!
